Driving Lessons in 2022

Four months into 2022 and the DVSA still hasn't been able to come up with a plan on how to solve the 9 month + wait for driving tests and the backlog of those looking to learn how to drive continues to soar.  At times only 3 tests were going out at one time at Avonmouth Test Centre as Grant Chaps repurposed examiners to train lorry drivers to make sure there are no repeats of the fuel crisis last year. 

However, in-spite of all of this, we have managed to help dozens of learner students across Bristol pass their driving tests.

If you're looking to learn how to drive in Bristol, unfortunately we have had to close our waiting lists as we've over a 100 people on it.  Your best bet of getting a manual licence is by taking an intensive course with either Paul Hanley or Richard Miller, our resident intensive course specialists.  Click here for more details.

The wait for automatic driving lessons  however is significantly smaller seeing as we now have twice the number of automatic driving instructors in Bristol now at the school.

Hopefully the DVSA will reduce the waiting times for driving tests and perhaps even open a new test centre.  We're still looking for more driving instructors to join us and tackle to the ever growing waiting list.
